Banh mi sandwiches ($7), Hanoi tacos ($3) and sweet and savory crepes ($9$10) are among the bargains owners Lorene Reed and Marc Sloop sell from their yellow tent well off the Sonoma plaza. The banh mi is the savory star: pork or chicken topped with pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, hoisin and sriracha aioli. Satisfy a sweet tooth with the Brie + Fruit crepe with maple syrup.

timeoutpicWow! We are #4 on this list of best Sonoma restaurants from www.timeout.com. This is a completely candid and unbiased review, our good friend Heidi Wilson had to tell us about it. So flattered and pleased that we are thought of so highly (we couldn't agree more!) - wonderful to know the passion we have for what we do really carries through to our diners' experience. best of bug 2015

We are excited to see the results of the annual Best of Sonoma Valley voting in the Sonoma Sun. We were given an Editor's Pick award for BEST FOODIE SURPRISE. (Link to Sonoma Sun article here.)

Sarah Stierch, Food and Drink Editor wrote, "One of the best surprises of 2015 was the introduction of Vietnamese and Thai-inspired cuisine at the Divewalk Cafe. Owners Lorene and Marc love their exotic flavors. The cafe now serves Bánh Mì, which has a cult following, Vietnamese Pho, and delicious curry soups. The chicken curry soup is spicy (hot), flavorful, and has the right mix of potatoes, rice noodles, chicken and spices to encourage happy food dances (c’mon, you know you have one). The Pho is equally good, with rare sirloin steak cooking immediately as it comes into contact with hot beef broth. Garnish it with all the traditional fixin’s and you’ll forget all about all your woes. Bring your laptop – free wifi and good coffee makes it a great hangout spot."
